Terms & Conditions
These terms outline the general conditions that apply when you use FinalPlateCatering.com, request catering services, or enter into a catering agreement with Final Plate Catering.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using FinalPlateCatering.com, submitting an inquiry, requesting a quote, or engaging Final Plate Catering for catering services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions to the extent applicable to your interaction with us. Specific event proposals, invoices, contracts, or written agreements may include additional or different terms. If there is a conflict, the terms in the specific written agreement for your event will control.
Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes related to learning about Final Plate Catering, reviewing our services, requesting information, or contacting us about catering. You agree not to interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse forms, submit false information, or use the website in a way that could harm Final Plate Catering or others.
Quotes and Proposals
Information submitted through the website does not create a binding catering agreement. Quotes, proposals, menu recommendations, availability discussions, and preliminary pricing are subject to confirmation and may change based on guest count, menu selections, service level, staffing, venue requirements, delivery distance, taxes, fees, product availability, and other event-specific factors.
A booking is not considered final unless and until Final Plate Catering confirms the event under the terms provided in the applicable proposal, invoice, contract, or written communication.
Pricing and Payment
Pricing may vary by menu, guest count, event location, service style, staffing, delivery, setup, rentals, taxes, processing costs, and other event requirements. Payment schedules, deposits, accepted payment methods, and final balances will be stated in the applicable quote, invoice, or agreement.
Any deposit or payment terms communicated for a specific event become part of that event's agreement. Failure to make required payments when due may affect reservation status, service, or event fulfillment.
Guest Counts and Event Details
You are responsible for providing accurate event information, including date, location, timing, guest count, menu selections, venue requirements, access details, dietary information, and service expectations. Changes may affect pricing, availability, staffing, equipment, food quantities, and the ability to perform services as originally planned.
Final Plate Catering may establish deadlines for final guest counts, menu changes, venue details, or other event information. Those deadlines will be communicated as part of the event planning process.
Menu Availability and Substitutions
Menu items and ingredients are subject to availability. We may need to make reasonable substitutions when ingredients, products, or supplies are unavailable or when circumstances outside our control affect sourcing. When practical, we will communicate material substitutions before the event.
Allergies and Dietary Requests
Please communicate known food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special meal requests before the event. While we may make reasonable efforts to accommodate certain requests, catering environments may involve shared kitchens, equipment, preparation areas, transportation, and service spaces. We cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free from allergens or cross-contact unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Changes
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, credit, and change terms may vary depending on the event, lead time, products ordered, staffing commitments, rentals, deposits, and other costs incurred. The terms stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, contract, or written event agreement will govern.
If no separate written cancellation terms have been provided, contact us as soon as possible regarding any requested cancellation or change so we can review the circumstances and any costs already committed.
Venue Access and Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that Final Plate Catering has reasonable access to the event location and that the venue permits the agreed catering activities. You are also responsible for communicating relevant venue rules, loading instructions, parking limitations, access times, kitchen restrictions, security requirements, insurance requirements, and other operational conditions that could affect service.
Delivery, Setup, and Service Timing
We make reasonable efforts to meet agreed delivery, setup, and service times. Timing may be affected by traffic, weather, venue access, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Event-specific delivery windows and service expectations will be addressed during planning.
Food Handling After Delivery or Service
Once food has been delivered, transferred to the client or venue, or left after service, responsibility for proper holding, storage, refrigeration, reheating, and food-safety practices may transfer to the client or venue as applicable. Perishable food should not be kept outside safe temperature ranges for extended periods.
Third-Party Services and Rentals
Some events may involve venues, rental companies, staffing providers, payment processors, delivery services, or other third parties. Final Plate Catering is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, policies, or performance of independent third parties except to the extent expressly agreed in writing.

Website Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current, but menu items, pricing, service descriptions, availability, photographs, and other information may change. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Final Plate Catering will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use or from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Any liability related to a specific catered event may also be subject to limitations stated in the applicable event agreement.
Force Majeure and Events Beyond Our Control
Final Plate Catering is not responsible for delay, interruption, or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, which may include severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, utility failures, transportation disruptions, supply shortages, venue closures, public emergencies, or similar events. When such circumstances occur, we will work in good faith to evaluate reasonable alternatives where possible.
